<s>You're not leveling it a second time for the mats, you're leveling it a second time to get the Stamina buff that comes from having the profession. You're getting mats the first time to build all the stuff you need/want, but the second time is just for the buff since crafting professions don't give you buffs.</s>

Scratch that. It helps when you reread your own post.

<s>Could you stock enough mats to last you through all of the professions needed? It's possible, but if you're playing a trial twink then your options for storage are incredibly limited so holding onto enough mats to get you through all of the profession you need to fully maximize everything might be a challenge for you. If you want to try to save yourself some time and effort by farming twice as much to start with rather than just farming twice, then you can certainly do that. </s>

Scratch that, too.

Nowhere in the list do I suggest going back to Mining after I tell you to drop it. You stick with Mining until you've got all of the related professions taken care of and then you leave it for good.

I haven't found any site yet that has reliable percentages on things like that, sadly. I know there are individuals who have tested and tracked every mission they've ever run and their results to get their own averages, but as far as I know they haven't collected all of the individual data into a single place.

I can tell you that Investigation is just about the single-most worthless skill in the game, though. If you want to make money on mats right now you either need Artifice, Slicing, or Underworld Trading.

Thanks!

Synchronicity.

I really miss my TSM in WoW and auto mailing mats to the proper crafter.
I was trying to empty my bags and I had these investigation mats I haven't used much (lolarmstech is 165; other 5 are each 400) And I came to Saava Silk. Torhead and darthhater both listed the missions that drop it but not who uses it.

It turns out http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear/made-with-material/34023/saava-silk# was what I wanted all along.

Speaking of site things I miss from WoW is drop rates of missions & R/E. Is a level 300 purple UT Mission worth 10k? 20? 30? When I do Companion farmville where I am only running the mission for profit which is the most profitable? For the increasing amount of stuff I have given up trying to sell, I assume vendoring is more profitable than r/e. But it would be nice to have better info.

Do you know any source that could help with that?

Psynister: I came here just to see if I was the only one doing the MSMSMSMB thing, and it works far more effectively than wasting mana playing a more PVE style. I do mostly BG's and I can take out three to five people before anyone even finds me just using MS/MB combo. If they catch onto me but are almost dead and I don't have the time for another MS, and MB is on CD, then I'll SW:Happy them and bam, another kill under the belt.

I get a lot of people going "LAWL ROLL " meanwhile I do effectively PVP on both - the mage and warlock (running two different specs, as well).

For Chad there: IMHO: it's our character, our team, and if there's a problem, people wouldn't be posting their way of PVPing on a shadow priest if it wasn't effective ;D
