Guides

Keeping a constantly updated list of my guides in multiple places has become quite a hassle, so I’ve decided to remove the list here and focus instead on the menu list at the top of the page. If for some reason you can’t use the menu, you can instead use the search feature found in the column to your right.

Also note that as of right now (January 2012) I am not currently playing WoW. I do have an active subscription because I signed up for the annual pass and will honor that agreement, but I am not playing and have no intention to do so until the pre-launch events start for Mists of Pandaria. You can still access all of my WoW guides, unless Mists can respark my interest there will be no further WoW guides from me.

My new point of focus is Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR).

You’ll find a menu for SWTOR guides under that same menu item at the top of the page. Just mouse-over SWTOR or WoW as you wish and a list of available guide topics will pop up for you to choose from.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find something useful as you take a look through my notebook.

    Hey Psynister,

He he… I’ve had a great time reading your blogs and appreciate all the good advice… really… you writing style speaks easy to me… and I have to laugh in that we have quite a lot in common as far as I can tell.

For example… I’m working on a Human Prot Paladin (currently level 37)right now… play mostly Aliance… but already have two 80’s namely a Human Mage dual speced Frost/Arcane… and a Night Elf Druid duel speced Balance/Resto… but I agree that duel specing the palidin won’t happen. AOE grinding is both a challenge and satisfyingly impressive. Everything else pales.

Yeah I work too much too… and don’t play as much as I would like… and match up pretty close with your scores on the survey that results with the 3-way graph… I play for fun and escape… tried some end game raiding with my Arcane mage but got tired of it after a few months and will probably do one last respec to go back to the Frostfire build because I love the way the spec plays and looks:) Sure I’ll drop 5% damage… but my gear is so good now that it doesn’t matter in any place other than ICC… and ICC really isn’t that much fun… too many face plants LOL:)

Hey I’ve got relatives in Utah too… was born in St. George… love to go visit from time to time… but love living in San Diego because the perpetual spring-like weather keeps me happy. A nice place to escape and stay in the real world!

Soooo… I’m writing to give you some more encouragement to finish up the 70-80 leveling guide for Prot Paladin… you got the touch in instructing… it would be most appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Ben

      Ben,

Nice to meet a fellow…er, whatever we are. ;)

I really do need to get back to work on the Prot Pally guide. I’ve got over half of it written and sitting in my Drafts folder (has been for months) just waiting to have all the loose ends tied up.
